When I drove by on 5 Sep 08, the models appeared to be disused. It was still pretty interesting to see these in such close proximity to the road!

I just volunteered to work in the San Diego Crime Victims Oak Garden last weekend. Which was the 30th of August 2008. I cannot believe that someone who is supposed to be upholding the law could do something like that. My question is why? May the Knott family feel peace and comfort. May that murderer, whom I refuse to mention, rot in prison.

Santaluz is one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in San Diego County. It is known for its extremely high mello-roos and HOA fees. It has a PGA level golf course. It also has many celbrities with homes in the area, including Quinten Jammer of the Chargers. It has extremely tight security and is also the spot of street racing on the camino del sur rd.

I have been down this trail several times over the years and have to agree that it is a wonderful place, but not for the faint of heart. It was a lot easier to climb back in the 60's before the cliffs really started to erode. Back in the 60's we also called the area Stinky Gulch because of the runoff stream.
